Still nothing.
We won't invent things for you to do.
This is the screen Flick shows when you reach the end of a deck, pull to refresh, and your mailbox says nothing new arrived. It is the whole screen. No invented tasks, no “you might also want to”, no second deck dealt to keep you swiping. The one button says Back to done.
The three things Flick can say at the end
These are the only end-of-deck outcomes in the app. The words below are read from the app’s source at build time — the same file the deploy check pins — so this page cannot say something the app does not.
Still nothing.
We won't invent things for you to do.
Back to doneCouldn't check just now.
Your mailbox is untouched. Try the check again in a moment.
Check againN new since you finished.
They'll keep. When you're ready:
Start a new sessionN is the real count. Nothing is dealt until you choose to start.
Why this is a promise, not a mood
The Refusal is what three clauses of the Never Contract look like on screen: the deck never becomes an infinite scroll (clause 5), we never send a re-engagement or win-back notification (clause 6), and session length is never a success metric (clause 12). The first two are enforced by a check that fails our deploy; the copy on this page is checked the same way.
Most apps treat an empty state as a failure to fill. Flick treats it as the point. When the pile has a bottom, you should be allowed to see it.
Turn the next inbox decision into a finite deck.
Open Flick with an account you control, or practice first with fabricated sample mail. Provider results remain limited to the accounts, messages, and actions Flick actually confirms.
Open Flick with your inbox →Read from lib/terminus.ts at build time on 2026-09-18. /never.json carries the clauses; the latest check run is on /never.
