Pilot status

Contained private pilot

New purchases and new mailbox connections are paused. Flick is validating a narrower product contract with a small, allowlisted group before it invites more people or describes provider-confirmed completion as generally available.

What the pilot is testing

The target is a Verified Finish: confirmation of the displayed decisions from a named, bounded snapshot across selected Gmail accounts the participant personally controls. The proposed receipt must name the accounts checked, scan limits, snapshot time, confirmed actions, failed accounts, and exclusions.

This is the pilot's acceptance contract, not a claim that every current build already satisfies it. “Finish” must remain unavailable whenever an account or provider action cannot be confirmed. It never means an inbox is empty and never includes new or unscanned mail.

Current action semantics

  • Archive removes the exact message snapshot from Inbox while preserving unread state. A newer message arriving in the same conversation stays in Inbox.
  • Keep records a Flick decision and does not itself change Gmail.
  • Reply can create a draft for the user to review. The current build does not expose or invoke Gmail Send.
